Funds in Transit:
U-VOL begins hosting you once you’ve arrived in-country and joined the team. If you arrive early or have layovers, please plan to cover your own food, lodging, or other expenses. U.S. currency and major credit cards are widely accepted in most airports, though local cash may also be helpful.

U-VOL is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to weather, airline issues, or other unforeseen events. Any costs incurred—including for additional lodging, food, or transportation—are the responsibility of the volunteer. No refunds will be given for missed travel or portions of the mission due to transit disruptions.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected disruptions such as flight delays, lost luggage, or illness. Be sure to review the policy carefully and choose one that meets your needs.
